Aren’t there enough places to make AI art? Our app is different. Our AI is already trained for a core purpose. Fantasy art. With this release, we are focused on players who need art right now. We want to make games more fun today, and eventually bring players and artists together. Never designed to function in isolation, our app needs a group of gamers and creators and even other AI developers to give it life. This build is a step in the process to a broader vision.

Right here, right now you can get art assets in seconds to jump start your RPG gaming experience. Players, GM’s, Storytellers, and Artists – anyone involved in a tabletop rpg can use it. As long as they have a character sheet. Perhaps most importantly: No prompt generation experience is required and no sign up is needed.

We use a narrowly trained Stable Diffusion model to create art that is intended to further conversation within the tabletop RPG community.

In future releases we will ultimately put the focus on human artists who will lead the conversation around our tool’s place in their process. We will bring players and human artists together in our marketplace and get humans drawing, painting and rendering new NFT artwork for characters worth keeping.

If you’ve already got a sheet and the Beholder won’t read it, it may be from a TTRPG system it can’t recognize. Please submit feedback or a bug report.

You may need to grant device permissions. You will feed the creator your character sheet which will get chopped and scraped into little parts and composed into an AI art prompt. Our system does not currently save character sheets. While you are in the current session of the Ceptor app your character details (but not your artwork) should be retained. If you upload a second sheet during the same session it will replace the current character stats and prompt details.

No. Unless you mint it, then you may never be rid of it.

Since there is no login, if you don’t save your avatar to your device, take a screenshot, or mint an NFT right then and there, it is lost forever. Remember to save as you go, and build a great collection for your games. Or mint them forever and become an early access user in our marketplace for human artists. A History feature may be scheduled for a later release.

The decentralized internet, that’s taking the world by storm, and can’t be deleted. Not all blockchains are created equal. When we release a version that is connected to mainet it will be affordable, reliable and fast with a minimal or positive impact on the planet. Blockchains are where cryptocurrency and NFTs live, so we know RPG characters will fit right in.

A Ceptor Collectible Card, minted in the Ceptor app is an ERC 721 NFT Smart Contract. A Non-Fungible Token is just like a certificate of Authenticity for a digital asset stored forever, maybe, on the decentralized blockchain. Other NFTs, including Ceptor Dice are ERC 1155 tokens.
